School Days

Hello Everyone ! ! Here we are ! The big moment ! Steven started Second Grade, excited to get back to his friends. Hailie in Kindergarten, ready for it, no looking back !! And David in Pre-school was a little sad the first week, but now tells everyone that he LLLOOOOVVVEEESSS school ! ! David's schedule is 3 hours every morning, and Hailie and Steven are every day, all day. Tropical Storm Fay was a bit of an annoyance for us, just rain and winds, enough to close school on the second day. Thank goodness we didn't have any serious things to be concerned about !

David, with some gentle coaxing managed to agree to sorta-matching. Was his idea to wear the blue shirt under the animal shirt ! He puts gel in his hair, stands there and combs it, just like Fonze ! ! One hand on the comb, the other smoothing his hair flat ! The style lasts all of 9 seconds, but he is doing his thing ! !

"C'mon Mom ! ! enough pictures already !"

Yes, she was ready for Kindergarten. After smooches and hugs, I got this big smile and "kissing hand" wave . . and there she goes . . . . .

And here she comes, on another day. I'm so happy to see the same smile as she is coming home ! ! ! (she missed me, she really missed me ! ! ) tee hee hee They are riding the bus home, together with their Cousin.
